This from-scratch seasoning mix recipe makes about a 1/2 cup. It should fit in 4-ounce glass jars, mason jars, or other spice containers. - Sprinkle on to vegetables before roasting.
Quick Tips for Best Results
- All spices and herbs should be dry, not fresh.
- I like adding a little dried lemon peel to this seasoning mix but you could use your favorite dried citrus peel such as orange, or could also omit if it’s not your thing.
- I like to use powdered or crushed rosemary in this mix. I find dried whole rosemary a little hard sometimes. Or you can also use a small spice grinder (or small food processor) to help combine the spices and to crush all the spices and herbs.
- Store the spice mix in a closed container in a dark cool place away from heat and light.
