Turtle Caketini, an easy chocolate martini cocktail recipe with cake vodka, chocolate liqueur, and caramel liqueur. The perfect party drink!

Turtle Caketini cocktail recipe, an easy drink with chocolate, caramel, and cake vodka. I survived Hurricane Irene, survived no power for a few days, and trying to survive kids not going back to school until next week (they were supposed to start school this week but that has been postponed until next week thanks to Irene). Not a good week for the blog, since I have SO many recipes swirling around in my head! Today’s recipe is for a yummy cocktail… Turtle Caketini.

Back to today’s recipe for the Turtle Caketini… Someone recently told me about Pinnacle Cake Flavored Vodka and I knew I had to give it a try. Pinnacle has a wide assortment of flavored vodkas such as Cotton Candy, Gummy, Whipped Cream, Root Beer, etc. Think of all the possibilities!!! Looking through my cupboard I came up with a long list of ideas I wanted to try but got inspired by a box of JELL-O Classic Turtle Instant Pudding Mix.
I had stocked up last winter on the turtle pudding since it’s a “seasonal” item and I still have a few boxes around. If you can’t find it in the stores right now, no problem. Substitute their chocolate variety. The vodka is CAKE flavored so let’s be honest here, whatever you mix with it, will probably taste good!! I have a few other ideas, but have to save them for future recipes. :) But in the meantime, hope you enjoy this Turtle Caketini!

Hope you enjoy!

Take your pick…with or without whipped cream!

This looks delish! I want one. :)
Wow! That sounds like an awesome recipe to try, if I can find that seasonal pudding mix…. just bought a bottle of the cake vodka for the first time today, as the curiosity was killing me. It’s delicious by itself, I must say, though it’s reallllly sweet. Thanks for posting your recipe. I look forward to trying it – or even a variation of it – sometime soon.
Hi! Not sure you’ll find the pudding at this time of year but you could substitute another kind or leave it out. I have lots of other great cocktail recipes so be sure to check out my others. :)
I saw this drink tweeted this morning and I love it! I’ve just posted a Smoretini this morning as part of a new effort I’m starting called Happy Hour Friday. Won’t you come over and add your delicious drink to it?
Is there anything you CANT make into a -tini?! haha
I actually have another one coming up Carmen! haha! :)
This looks fantastic! I just had my first dessert martini the other day, and I think I may be addicted now :) Thanks for a great post!
Dessert martinis are addictive!! Hope you enjoy my Turtle Caketini!!!
I cannot wait to try this!! My all time favorite is a Key Lime Pie Martini, but this may take it’s place!!
Thanks Amy! Key Lime Pie Martini sounds really good too! Think they now need a “pie” flavored vodka! :)
Cake flavored Vodka? Now I have heard of everything! Looks great!
I know who would have thought…cake flavored vodka!! So many other flavors I want to try but need to pace myself. :)
Wow! This cake looks amazing! Vodka in cake – yum!
Oh my goodness. They make cake vodka now!? Ahhhh where is the closest liquor store to work?? Haha
Erin, I know, I thought the same thing about the cake vodka!! And I was shocked that my local liquor store had it. I need to start hanging out there more often apparently! LOL :)
