Now how about a fun spring cocktail using Mamacat’s Q. Teas???  This Ruby Slipper Springtini is a BEAUTIFUL color!  Mamacat’s Q. Teas has a great line of teas including Ruby Slippers, Golden Slumbers, Emerald Wonderland, Amber Maharani, Blossom Hill, and Casablanca Mist.  This Ruby Slippers Springini is the perfect “martini” for spring or a ladies night out!  It’s easy to make, and did I mention even my husband enjoyed it????  Mr. Steak & Potatoes enjoyed a cocktail with tea!!!  Love it!

You first want to prepare some of Mamacat’s Q. Teas Ruby Slippers tea.  You will notice how fresh the tea smells!  The tea itself is a beautiful color!  The picture doesn’t do it justice!  The beautiful color is from hibiscus flowers.  And did I mention this tea is packed with Vitamin C???  Love it!  After you prepare the tea, let the tea cool, before making the rest of the drink.

To compliment the citrus and flower flavors of the tea, I added some PAMA (pomegranate liqueur), some Triple Sec (orange liqueur), ginger ale (regular or diet, for a little bubbly), and a few orange slices for garnish. You may want to multiple this recipe and make a pitcher for easy serving!  I hope you enjoy!

I like tea hot! I can drink it any time of the year, but it is especially good in the winter since it warms you right up! I also prefer it sweetened!

I like drinking tea year round. In the winter, I like it hot, sweetened with honey or sugar with lemon slices. In the summer I like it icy cold, sweetened with honey or sugar with mint, and an assortment of fresh fruits.

I love all tea. Hot & Cold. Both sweetened & unsweetened….depending on my mood. My two favorite flavors are ginger/peach and a pumpkin fall flavor.

I can’t even wait to test out this recipe and I’ll be waiting “patiently” for the next one too!

I love a good mug of hot chai. That’s my favorite way to drink tea, but I like tea in most all forms.

I love tea and I usually drink tea hot. For afternoon tea, I love a nice cup of black tea with a little sugar and cream, the British way, and pair with my favorite pastry. What a nice way to enjoy life.

I like my tea hot in the winter and iced in the summer, sweetened with a little honey or agave nectar if it is iced. No unusual recipes, as of yet.

I drink lots of herbal tea hot and without sugar. However, when I drink iced tea I do want it sweet. If I am out somewhere, I usually order it half sweet and half unsweet or I add splenda if they have it. I drink tea year-round. If it has caffeine though I drink it in the morning. And I love chamomile and other sleepy type teas before bed.

I like both hot and cold tea. I prefer my iced tea unsweetened but I do drink sweetened iced tea. I like to add a little bit of sugar and cream to my hot tea if it is an unflavored tea. For flavored I drink it without anything added.

Hi there! I just came across your blog today through Pinterest – very nice!
I generally like warm/hot tea in cooler weather and iced tea in warmer temps. I like a variety but a good Chai is always nice and I just love fresh mint iced tea (which I’ll be posting soon on my blog).

I follow you and Mamacat’s Q. teas on facebook. Typically I prefer my tea hot (I used to love iced tea, the Lipton pre-made mix). I’ve only been drinking green tea and I like it as is and will drink it year round. I have never tried cooking with tea personally. This recipe sounds delicious! I am going to have to try a few of your “tini” recipes; they all sound so yummy.

I like iced tea – slightly sweet – if it is traditional, southern tea I like it a bit weak and watered down.. strange, I know LOL ;)

    Hi Lisa!

I came across your blog through pinterest and love your willingness to try so many things and come up with new and creative recipes so nicely! I can’t wait to try some of them.
As for tea, I don’t really like it. However, they have this green tea frappucino at starbucks that I can’t get over for some reason. So I tried to make a cheap version at home using vanilla bean ice cream and a bunch of bags of green tea steeped in a little bit of water all mixed in the blender and it’s spot on! Taste’s just like Starbuck’s but doesn’t cost nearly as much. I was so happy with the way it turned out!

I like tea all year round, I tend to like iced tea more but hot tea is right on its tail. A little sweetener and strong I find best
