- 1 cup kale frozen
- 1 small apple cored & diced (peeled if desired)
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 ice cubes (or more if you want to bulk up the smoothie)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
SNAPPY TIPS: For best results make sure all your ingredients are cold. Peel your apple if your blender is not that strong or you don't like apple peel. I like to use Fuji apples but you can use your favorite variety. A little fresh ginger would be a great addition as well.
SNAPPY SUBSTITUTIONS: Use your favorite sweetener or omit the honey. Use your favorite milk or milk substitute.
VEGAN OPTION: Omit the honey or substitute your favorite vegan-friendly sweetener.
