Oktoberfest Burger Recipe
Oktoberfest Burger, an easy German inspired burger recipe with pork, pretzels, mustard, beer, and onions.

Add ground pork, pretzels, 1 Tablespoon mustard, garlic, and pepper to large mixing bowl. Gently combine until mixed then form into 4 patties.
Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat (or preheat grill to medium-high). Cook burgers about 3-5 minutes per side or until cooked through. During last minute of cooking, top each burger patty with Swiss cheese until melted.
Meanwhile, add olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onions about 2-3 minutes or until they begin to soften. Mix in remaining 1 Tablespoon mustard and beer. Cook onions another 8-12 minutes or until onions are soft and beer has reduced slightly, stirring occasionally.
To assemble, top bottom parts of rolls with a burger patty then onions and top half of roll.
SNAPPY TIPS: These burgers would also make great sliders on Martin's Party Potato Rolls. If you like your onions very soft and well done, you may want to start cooking them before you start cooking the burgers.
SNAPPY SUBSTITUTIONS: Instead of pork you could substitute chicken.
