Korean BBQ Sauce, easy homemade sauce that's great on beef, chicken, tacos, wings, ribs, and more!

Servings 2 cups
Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
Pour sauce into a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, then reduce to simmer. Simmer about 5 minutes.
SNAPPY TIPS: If you like your sauces more on the sweet side, you may want to add more brown sugar. I definitely recommend a low sodium soy sauce because the sauce can run a little salty with so much soy sauce in it. If you want the sauce a little spicier, add some red pepper flakes or sriracha. If you'd like the sauce a little thicker, you can add a little cornstarch mixed with water into the sauce.
SNAPPY SUBSTITUTIONS: If you can't find an Asian pear, you could try substituting an apple or pear.
