Pomegranate Orange Tea, an easy drink recipe perfect for anytime of year. Start with Snapple®Straight Up Tea™, add a few simple ingredients, and you have a great tea that is delicious hot or cold. It’s even a great drink for the holidays for the whole family!
As you know the holidays are coming up and we’re all BUSY, right? I’m starting to get stressed, is anyone else? I’m always looking for quick and easy ways to save time in the kitchen, and not to mention sometimes you just need to relax from all the holiday craziness with a hot cup of tea.
When November 1st hit, I knew I need to sit and relax for a few minutes before the holiday craziness got too out of hand. This Pomegranate Orange Tea was perfect for the occasion. It’s quick and easy to make and the perfect drink for the whole family.
My local Stop & Shop Supermarket has the Snapple®Straight Up Tea™ on sale right now 10/$10 through November 8th. I LOVE that the tea comes in three levels of sweetness, Unsweetened (0 calories), Sorta Sweet (90 calories), and Sweet (180 calories) so there’s one for everyone!
I decided to go with the unsweetened for this drink, although either of the others would be a great choice too. The Snapple®Straight Up Tea™ has a great brewed tea taste, and the unsweetened has no sugar so you can add your sweetener of choice or go without a sweetener entirely. I love that there are so many options! TheSnapple®Straight Up Tea™ is fabulous on its own “straight up”, but I thought for the holidays I would add a few easy ingredients to make a fun drink that is great for the whole family.
The Unsweetened Snapple®Straight Up Tea™ was perfect for this Pomegranate Orange Tea recipe. I added a little honey to the finished drink, but you could definitely use the sweetener of your choice or omit the sweetener all together. You could also substitute either the Sorta Sweet or Sweet Snapple®Straight Up Tea™ if you prefer a sweeter drink.
Along with the honey and tea, I also added a little pomegranate juice, fresh orange juice, and a little vanilla extract and placed everything in the microwave in a tea cup for about 2 minutes. No need to heat the tea up though if you’re looking for a cold drink.
You could also serve this Pomegranate Orange Tea over ice which would be fabulous in the summer! Make a big batch of the tea and serve in a pitcher or tea kettle for a quick fun drink! Hope you enjoy!
