The best frozen Mango Coconut Margarita cocktail recipe! How to make a margarita with fresh ingredients, no margarita mix, and ready in no time!
It’s National Margarita Day! And I have the perfect new cocktail recipe, Mango Coconut Margarita! No need to buy all those margarita mixes, this easy recipe for Mango Coconut Margaritas is a frozen margarita and ready in no time. Just put everything in the blender, and in a few seconds, they’re ready!! Easy to make these into non-alcohoholic mocktails too!
Like I said, no need to buy those margarita mixes. You might me wondering how to make a margarita without a mix, but it’s really easy! What is in a margarita? Well, you can put whatever you want. :) Many of the margarita mixes are just corn syrup and water. You’ll be amazed how sweet and refreshing this margarita is with just fresh fruit and no added sugar.
But if you like your drinks really sweet, add a little sugar, agave, or honey. I added tequila, triple sec, coconut milk, fresh lime juice, fresh mango, and ice cubes to this best ever margarita!! The coconut flavor is not really strong so if you’re not a huge coconut fan, don’t worry, I don’t think you’ll even notice the coconut. Although, I LOVE coconut and lined the rim of my glass with unsweetened coconut, lime zest, and salt!
If you want to turn these frozen Mango Coconut Margaritas into mocktails, substitute water or more coconut cream/milk for the alcohol. Kids will love it! Or try this Mango Smoothie instead.
Happy National Margarita Day friends! Hope you enjoy my Mango Coconut Margarita recipe!!
Hope you enjoy!

Coconut milk and coconut cream are vastly different products. With coconut milk this was pretty tart and not terribly tasty. I’m sure it would have been better with coconut cream.

Would you happen to have this recipe for a large quantity? I want to make this for an upcoming party but need to make a large batch! Thanks! It sounds delicious!

Hi, It would depend on how much you need and how much will fit in your blender at one time. (16 tablespoons = 1 cup, 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon) Here are the measurements for 8 drinks…
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup triple sec (or orange flavored liqueur)
1/2 cup coconut milk (or cream)
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
8 cups fresh mango (or if you’re making a lot you may want to try defrosted frozen mango or frozen mango with less ice)
4 cups ice

Is it Friday yet? These look tasty and would be nice pool side. I could almost pretend I was in Mexico!

This looks good and a nice mix of flavors, but cocktails recipes are in ounces or or parts, not tablespoons and teaspoons
one tablespoon=1/2 oz
one teaspoon= 1/6? oz
You’re making drinks not cookies
:)

Thanks for the comment. Yes I am aware some cocktail recipes are in ounces or parts. My recipes are for the average home cook not bartenders and my readers tend to prefer tablespoons and teaspoons. Thanks for stopping by. :)
