This coffee marinade for meat is ready in no time! It’s a great way to add a little flavor to your beef and pork this winter. Add some potatoes and vegetables and you have yourself the best comfort meal for this time of year.
Hard to believe Thanksgiving is 2 weeks from today! It’s been a long week but I know I have so much to be thankful for.
Ok, let’s talk about this Easy Coffee Marinade! This Easy Coffee Marinade really is quick and easy. You mix all the ingredients including coffee, molasses, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, thyme, and pepper in a bowl and that’s it!
This is a great marinade for pork chops, pork tenderloin, or a wide variety of other cuts of pork and beef. Great for steaks!
Place your meat in a resealable bag and cover with the coffee marinade. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator. Depending on the cut of meat, marinate a few hours or overnight.
If it’s a tough cut of meat you may need to marinate a little longer. It really will depend on the cut you choose. I used pork tenderloins and left the pork in the coffee marinade in the fridge for a few hours but overnight probably would have been even better.
When you’re ready to cook, drain the marinade into a small saucepan and pat the meat dry. Cook the meat as you wish. Meanwhile, bring the marinade to a boil and boil until reduced about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to bring to a boil so you kill any bacteria from the raw meat! Serve the coffee sauce with your meat.
