This mint cocktail recipe makes one large drink or 2 smaller drinks. It would also be cute in shot glasses or mini glasses for a Thin Mint shot!

Wasn’t sure what to call this cocktail. Thought about calling it Thin Mint Martini, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Martini, Mint Chocolate Chip Martini, Mint Chocolate Martini, etc. Whatever you want to call it, the bring green color with chocolate whipped cream is beautiful and this cocktail is delicious!
How to Make a Mint Chip Cookietini?
First, start by grating some chocolate for some chocolate shavings. You could also use finely chopped Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies or any chocolate cookie or even chocolate graham crackers.
Next, place the milk/cream, cookie dough vodka, chocolate vodka, and creme de menthe in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake about 30 seconds.
Instead of milk or cream, you could also use half-and-half, melted vanilla ice cream, or your favorite dairy substitute.
I used Pinnacle Cookie Dough Vodka, Pinnacle Chocolate Vodka (but you could also use Pinnacle Chocolate Whipped Vodka), and crème de menthe. Feel free to use a different brand or cookie vodka.
Dip the rim of the martini glass in chocolate syrup (or hot fudge or melted chocolate) and roll in chocolate shavings or cookie crumbs.
Strain the drink into the glass. Top with chocolate whipped cream (or regular whipped cream) and more chocolate shavings or cookie crumbs.
What is Crème de Menthe?
If you’ve never heard of crème de menthe or never used it, it comes in handy for all sorts of mint cocktails, drinks, and even desserts!
Crème de menthe is a sweet mint-flavored liqueur. It is generally green, but you can also find white versions. Crème de menthe, although translates to “cream of mint” is actually not creamy but has a high sugar content. It is widely available and inexpensive and makes a nice addition to any bar.
If this Mint Chip Cookietini drink is a little too strong for you, you can dilute it with more milk/cream. I thought it was perfect, but you may need to adjust to personal preferences.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hope this St. Patrick’s Day cocktail brings you lots of luck this year.

Lisa Huff says
Hi! You can substitute regular vodka, however the flavor of the drink will be much different. Still good, but just different. You could always mix in a little packaged cookie mix to give a slight cookie flavor.

Where do you find the chocolate whipped cream? I can never find it…..
Lisa Huff says
Jen, it’s in our regular grocery store in the refrigerated section by the whipping cream, coffee creamers, etc. It’s by Reddi-wip and right next to their regular ones. I guess it’s possible your store doesn’t carry it. I think Cool Whip also makes a chocolate variety or at least they used to.
