What is Pumpkin Spice?
Pumpkin Spice has become quite popular over the years. It generally refers to pumpkin pie spice which consists of a wide range of spices and may include ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and/or allspice.
I did not add pumpkin spice directly to the cocktail since I used a pumpkin spice liqueur but feel free to add some to the cocktail itself.

- Top each drink with whipped cream or whipped topping. Even a homemade whipped cream like this caramel whipped cream might be good too.

Quick Tips for Best Results
- Be sure to add ice to the shaker before adding the other ingredients so the drink will be cold.
- Careful substituting different types of liqueur. Your cocktail taste can vary greatly for each substitute so just be sure to try it.
- Top drinks with whipped cream right before serving so that the whipped cream doesn’t melt into the drink.
- You can make a pitcher of these pumpkin martinis ahead of time but just be sure to store in the refrigerator.
Caramel Pumpkin Spice Martini FAQ
Can I make this Pumpkin Spice Martini ahead of time?
Yes! I haven’t tried it but don’t see why not. I would just store covered in the refrigerator and away from any strong smells like onions. Add the whipped cream and pumpkin spice (or cinnamon) on top when serving.
How should I store leftovers?
I would store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and again away from strong smells. If there’s whipped cream on top, I would take that off with a spoon before storing leftovers.
How long will the Pumpkin Spice Martini last?
It kind of depends on how fresh your cream is. It should last at least a few days if not longer.
Can I make any substitutions for any of the ingredients or brands?
Yes! I only listed the brands I used in case people wanted suggestions. You can definitely use your favorite brands but just know the drink can vary a lot so be sure to taste it before serving to others.
Can I use low-fat cream or milk?
Yes! You can use any type of cream, milk, or even milk substitute (like coconut milk or almond milk). It’s all personal preference.
Can I make a big batch of this cocktail at one time?
I listed the ingredients in Tablespoons so that you hopefully could easily multiply the ingredients if you want to make more than one drink at a time or a large pitcher for a party. Just be sure to top with whipped cream and pumpkin spice (or cinnamon) after you pour the drinks into glasses.
Can I serve these as shots?
Yes! These would make really fun shots! Follow the directions but instead of pouring into martini glasses, pour into small shot glasses then top with whipped cream and pumpkin spice (or cinnamon) as desired.
