So here is a fun recipe for a Better Than Sex Caketini! So there are lots of Better Than Sex Cakes and Better Than Sex desserts, but this drink is based on the popular pineapple coconut cake, this dessert cocktail has pineapple, coconut, vanilla, and Pinnacle Cake Vodka! There are a lot of variations of a Better Than Sex Cake, but the one I saw contains pineapple, coconut, French vanilla pudding, and whipped cream. Sounded like a great inspiration for a cocktail, don’t you think? And a great way to celebrate one year of my blog! Does the cake or drink live up to its name? Well, I’ll let you be the judge! :)
The ingredients in this drink are fairly simple. I ran across this So Delicious Coconut Milk Creamer and thought I’d give it a try in this drink. It worked out really well! If you can’t find it, you can try substituting your favorite coconut milk.
I also added some toasted coconut to the top of the drink but you could also line your glass rim with toasted coconut.
Cheers! Here’s to another year of Snappy Gourmet! Thanks for a great year!
Hope you enjoy this Better Than Sex Caketini (pineapple and coconut cocktail)!

I just had to click over from Pinterest to see this one. I’m so funny with alcoholic drinks. I don’t drink beer/lager or stout, but I do love spirits and this looks perfect. Cake vodka? I just can’t.
In fact, I really can’t. No such thing here *sulk* I might have to travel across the pond for this one though. Heaven!
Lisa Huff says
Oh no, so sorry to hear you don’t have it there! Although I’m sure you have lots of fabulous things we don’t have here. :)

Could you make this as a big batch to serve in a container to a crowd or will it settle too much?
Lisa Huff says
I haven’t tried it but I don’t see why not. Just make sure you can mix it before serving and I’d add the toppings right before.
