Do beverages count? My favorite fall “dish” is the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks :) For an actual “dish,” my favorite is a streuseled sweet potato casserole. Thank you for the giveaway!

Hello Dear Friend! The crisp fall air and apple picking season gets me hankering for ….. apple crisp ! Aptly named, I like my top crunchy so usually add oatmeal, nuts, peanut brittle or crushed Heath bars …. Yum!

I follow on Facebook – and anything with apples is always a favorite, all four seasons, but particularly in fall when the fruit is fresh.

My favorite fall dish is soup – I’m a huge soup fan during the cooler months. My absolute favorite fall dessert is a pumpkin roll. Best fall meal? Soup with bread and pumpkin roll for dessert!

My favorite fall dessert was made from Chow Restaurant on Church and Market in San Francisco. It was a Pumpkin cheesecake with cranberry topping and a dollop of whipped cream. I loved it sooo much that I made a couple trips back to Chow during my stay.

Hi Snappy Gourmet! Love your site.
My favorite Fall recipe, besides S’mores, is my Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Bread.
It is great for breakfast or picnics and such a great gift. I sometimes bake them in recyled coffee cans. Looks cool in a gift basket.
Recipe to follow…I have to locate it.
    Thanks,

I absolutely love (and crave!) Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup (http://allrecipes.com/recipe/creamy-chicken-and-wild-rice-soup/). There are lots of good recipes out there and it’s so comforting when the weather turns–it sounds weird, but it reminds me of how comforting a good bowl of mashed potatoes tastes. Nothing better on a cold, crisp day than a bowl of Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup. So deelish! P.S. Love your blog!!!! :)

I LOVE anything pumpkin when it turns to fall.

My favorite thing to make in the fall is pumpkin bread. I cannot get through the season without making it at least once. I use a recipe that is from a church cookbook when I was five years old. (That was a really long time ag0)

In the fall I love anything with baked apples and vanillA ice cream. However for the past few Thanksgivings I have been making a pumpkin gingersnap trifle from Rachel Rays recipes. The gingersnaps are soaked in rum and the pumpkin is mixed with marshmallow cream

My favorite dessert is my Grandma’s French Silk Pie, OMG it is AMAZING! It is all handmade minus the crust since any pie crust is good. The mousse is all hand whipped, the whip topping is hand whipped. Health Bar is crunched up and added into the mousse as well as on top! Once a year pie that makes you basically have a sugar coma!

When I was growing up our fall would consist of going out on the hill and cutting wood for the winter. Then we’d come back to the house and have home made pizza. For dessert, it was a special treat when Mom made her famous Oatmeal Scotchies. I’m not sure what she did differently than the recipe, but I’ve never been able to duplicate them. :-(
