Orange Creamsicletini Cocktail, easy recipe inspired by an orange creamsicle. Includes orange juice, cream, whipped cream vodka, and vanilla pudding mix.
Orange Creamsicletini Cocktail, an easy homemade drink recipe with a fun twist on orange creamsicles. SnappyGourmet.comLess than a week away from Thanksgiving and although I should be thinking about turkeys and pumpkin pies, I couldn’t help but think about this Orange Creamsicletini! I was walking through the grocery store this week buying a few things for Thanksgiving and was somehow drawn to the creamsicles near the ice cream.
I then remembered a conversation I had with someone earlier this year. Don’t remember exactly how it went, but I think they said something like “Oh, I LOVE creamsicles! They are the best!” followed by me saying “I’d rather chocolate….”. And there I was in the grocery store the other day and all I could think about was turning that creamsicle into a cocktail!!?? What is wrong with me???? That is rhetorical questions, so for those who know me, please don’t answer…
So nothing against creamsicles, but I’d typically pick chocolate. Although these Orange Creamsicletinis surprised me and I really enjoyed them. They’re orange colored and kind of good for Thanksgiving, right?? If you’ve missed my other cocktails and -tinis, check out my Recipe Index for the last posts. You could change this recipe up a bit and add a little vanilla vodka. I liked the addition of the vanilla pudding for the vanilla flavor as well as more creamy texture.
One bit of advice…When mixing a cocktail in a SHAKER, be sure you keep your hand or finger on the top so that it doesn’t come off. Also be sure you don’t wear anything white while shaking. And should you not follow the first two direction and you get something on your white shirt don’t put the shirt in the washer and tell yourself you’ll start the wash in a few minutes, because you’ll forget. If you know where to buy a new white shirt, let me know…

I thought the recipe called for too little vodka, so I put some more in. I’m definitely a little drunk now. I think the taste would have been better if I stuck to the recipe, though. Can’t wait to try it again!

cheap version: whipped cream TOPPING Vodka and diet orange soda. I used diet to cut the calories. Taste just like creamsicles!!

I had one of these at a very upscale restaurant in Charlotte, NC (so upscale we only had drinks there). It was very yummy! I’m sure this one will be just as good. cant wait to try it.
