As promised, this week I’m giving you 5 recipes all with 5 ingredients or less ! A friend recently told me about Saucy Mama’s Fab with Five Recipe Challenge and although I was a little unsure at first, after taking a look at their fun products, I was hooked! The challenge is to come up with a recipe that uses one of their products and has 5 ingredients or less (not counting oil and salt/pepper). A few prizes will be given out to their favorite recipes AND I get to offer a giveaway JUST to my Snappy Gourmet Friends! So wish me luck, and good luck to you, and hope you enjoy the upcoming recipes!
After signing up to enter the contest, Saucy Mama sent me 6 of their fun products:
- Apricot Ginger Mustard
- Tarragon Lemon Mustard
- Dijon Mustard
- Sweet Heat Marinade
- Pacific Rim Ginger Dressing
- Santa Fe Creamy Chipotle Dressing
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a lot of time to get started as I was out of town when the contest started and I’m heading back out of town soon. But I had a fun 24 hours cooking and writing up recipes! I took the challenge a little further and challenged myself to come up with 5 recipes, all 5 ingredients or less, using all 6 of the Saucy Mama products. Crazy, I know!!! So this week (if all goes according to plan) I’ll be posting a new recipe each day (Monday through Friday) and each recipe will use 1 or 2 Saucy Mama products. The recipes are all quick and easy and perfect for party appetizers or a fun dinner! Hope you enjoy!
And I almost forgot one of the best parts! Saucy Mama is giving away a prize package to one of my SNAPPY GOURMET Friends! Prize includes a bottle each of their Sweet Heat Marinade, Tarragon Lemon Mustard, and Pacific Rim Ginger Dressing.
