People always ask me for quick snack and meal ideas. It’s always hard to know what to say since everyone likes different foods, everyone is on different diets, everyone is at different cooking levels, etc. So I thought from time-to-time I’d post some quick ideas for snacks and meals that don’t really require a lengthy recipe.
Looking for a quick sweet fix that won’t break your New Year’s diet? Here’s a quick idea….
Heat some Cardamom Apple-Pearsauce (or other homemade applesauce) in a small bowl in the microwave until heated through. Mix in a little vanilla and extra cinnamon if you want, then top with chopped toasted nuts (or oats) and light whipped topping. Tastes like a crustless apple pie and far better for you!
